Books Recommended by Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg BooksDuring his sophomore year at Harvard, Mark Zuckerberg dropped out in order to focus on his project, Facebook. The rest is history. Facebook now has more than 2 billion users and Zuckerberg has steadily made his way up in the “richest people in the world” list, being ranked 5th in 2017.

As for books, Mark Zuckerberg has always been a public advocate of reading and even started an online book club in 2015. Called A Year of Books, it was hosted on his personal Facebook account and he made a recommendation every two weeks. According to Zuckerberg, all books were supposed to “emphasize learning about new cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies.” The first book he recommended was soon sold out on Amazon.

But that’s not the only reading Zuckerberg does and he frequently talks about books and how important he thinks reading is. In the post announcing the book club, he said: “I’ve found reading books very intellectually fulfilling. Books allow you to fully explore a topic and immerse yourself in a deeper way than most media today. I’m looking forward to shifting more of my media diet towards reading books.”
